discussion on issues in the film industry

Discussion on issues in the film industry:

Around the film industry, we have come across a number of different ideas and thoughts, for example we have found out that many people do go to the cinema regularly, two to three times a month, however many go less frequently maybe once or twice a year.

I think this is because of the money that is spent towards cinema fees, because you not only have to pay a five pound ticket, they also need to buy refreshments in order to really enjoy the film and again a lot of money may go into that, this can put people off of going cinema regularly.

Many that do go to the cinema are mainly interested in holly wood films, where as others like me like to watch films at home.

Another issue around the film industry is that many people illegally download/stream film, 60% of 16-30 year olds think that film content should be free over the internet, however this causes problems in the film industry because cinemas cant make money.
