Thor was premiered at the Odeon in Leicester Square on the 22nd October 2013. In the UK it was released on the 30th October 2013 whereas in America it is set to be released on the 8th of November. We are able to catch the movie in cinemas such as Cineworld.

PRODUCTION
Development: Development
began in April 2011 before release of Thor, as Kevin Fiege wanted Thor to have
an adventure after the Avengers movie as we have seen that all the characters
have their own movies of their adventures. In June 2011 we were shown by Walt
Disney Studio that there was to be a sequel to Thor the movie.
Pre-Production: We
see final decisions being made of where the location of the movie will be
filmed which was set to be filmed in London during the summer of 2012, top
directors were involved in the process of this before we went to filming the
movie.
Filming: Filming
began in the summer of 2012 where we were shown the location of the filming was
done in Surrey as well as Greenwich for some scenes.
Post Production: During the post-production scenes were added and the
editing was done in order for the movie to be watched in IMAX 3D in theatres
and to be sold on DVD’S completing sound effects and animation in order to
complete the movie which was released to the UK on the 30TH of
October.
