THOR; THE DARK WORLD


MARVEL PRESENTS: 

THOR - The Dark World



The film was directed by Alan Taylor and produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. 



Thor 2's budget was about $200 million, and the marketing budget was a staggering $100 million minimum. 

'The Dark World' stars Chris Hemsworth, Jaimie Alexander, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idris Elba and Christopher Eccleston.





Thor 2 is being marketed all over London, whether it be on buses, trains or even billboards in the street. Even in adverts on Youtube, and especially adverts on the television.
   






An example of synergy to do with Thor 2 is that 'Lego' have made Thor 2 inspired bits of Lego, for example:

         






An example of cross media convergence in Marvel for Thor was at the London premier the X factor contestants were present on the red carpet, therefore gaining a larger attraction and potentially a new audience range.





Thor 2 is being/has been released in a huge number of many different countries ranging from Belgium all the way to Greece and so on. Here are the countries worldwide as well as the release dates.

'Thor: The Dark World' will be/is released in a normal format as well as 3D at the IMAX internationally. In addition, in places like Marvel studies and exhibition centers etc, there is an available chance to watch it in 4D.


'Thor The Dark World' has a target audience of anyone above the age of 12 as it is certificated as a 12A.

 THOR THE DARK WORLD WILL BE IN A CINEMA NEAR YOU AS OF THE 8TH NOVEMBER. :)
